Former Irvine Valley standout basketball player Aaron Strings helped Westcliff capture the Pac West title. Strings starred for IVC during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. He was named an all-Orange Empire Conference player.
Two-year starter Moka Saiki has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Two-Year College All-American team. Saiki was selected all-conference the last two years and made 109 total three-pointers at IVC.
Irvine Valley, the first community college to start women's flag football, will begin its 2025 season with a scrimmage at the University of Redlands. Under the leadership of coach Sami Logan, the Lasers have 16 players.

Irvine Valley two-year player Jamie Eijpenn is headed to NCAA Division III Whittier College next fall. The sophomore defender played in 32 matches for the Lasers in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, starting in 17 total matches.
