Irvine Valley College strives to create an inclusive environment that offers accommodation services for students as well as faculty, staff, and visitors to the college. We seek to meet the accessibility goals of state and federal laws and regulatory agencies including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California Code of Regulations Title 5: Nondiscrimination. Board Policy 3425 requires full compliance with the requirements of the ADA Act. Consistent with that policy, disability accommodations will be provided as needed for program access, upon request.  Furthermore, IVC implements the latest Chancellor's Office Alternate Media Guidelines and the addendum as added, where necessary.

IVC’s Disability Support Programs for Students (DSPS) department provides support services, academic adjustments, and auxiliary aids to students with a disability, allowing them to fully participate and benefit from an equitable college experience. For more information, call 949-451-5368 or email ivcdsps@ivc.edu.

For students who do not wish to register with DSPS, please submit your contact information to the 504 Accommodation Request Form.

The South Orange County Community College District strives to create and promote an equitable and diverse workforce and learning environment by ensuring that reasonable accommodations are implemented to support disabled students, employees, and applicants (BP 7348/AR 7348) Reasonable Accommodations for Employees/Applicants). The District understands and recognizes that reasonable accommodations provide a lifeline to those with disability, allowing them to contribute their talents and abilities more fully in the world.

It is the policy of the SOCCCD to fully comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (BP3425). Consistent with that policy, disability accommodations will be provided as needed for program access, upon request.
