As an IVC student, you have access to several online tools that help you communicate,  take classes, and manage your life at IVC.  

  • For fully online and hybrid classes, Canvas is where you will log in to access and submit assignments, class lectures, tests/exams, and more.
  • Many in-person classes also use Canvas to help manage the course. From communicating with instructors to discussion boards with your classmates, Canvas gives you a way to interact outside of the classroom.  
  • Each professor may use Canvas slightly differently, or may not use it at all, but becoming  familiar with its tools is your first step to succeeding in your classes.

  • You will log in to MySite to see the class schedule, register for classes, access email, check your grades,  view your academic history, and more.
  •  Access to MySite will be sent to you by email after you apply to IVC.

  • After enrolling at IVC, you’ll be given an IVC email address. (name@ivc.edu
  • Be sure to check your IVC email frequently - this is where your professors and the college will contact you about classes and other important information. 
  • Not sure what your email address is? You can look it up in MySite.
