Support For Your Transfer to a Four-Year University
Our Transfer Center staff are here to help you learn about important transfer information, requirements, and processes so you can increase your ability to transfer to the four-year university.
Transfer Counseling Drop-In
Summer 2025 (May 23-August 8): We do not have specific transfer counseling during Summer. However, counselors in General Counseling can assist with your transfer questions. Please call 949-451-5319 or visit SSC 210. Drop-in can be in-person or phone call back.
If you have a very specialized or complicated transfer question that our general counselors cannot answer, please email us at ivctransfercenter@ivc.edu and one of our transfer counselors will get back to you with in a week during regular business hours. Please include your name, student ID number (if applicable), and question.
Fall 2025 Transfer Drop-ins will start in September. Please check back in for more information.
Transfer Counseling Appointment Scheduling
Starting Monday, August 11, we will be making 30 mins to 1 hour appointments starting for the following Monday, August 18 for the remainder of the semester
Providing Transcripts to Irvine Valley College: Please see your institution’s Admissions or Registrar’s website on how to official transcript(s). Students can also search by entering their institution’s name followed by official transcripts. Example: UC San Diego official transcripts.
