Transfer Center

Transfer Center Drop-ins offered 10 - 15 minutes worth of quick questions in-person or virtually. This is on a first come, first serve basis. 

• In-Person drop-ins: we start to make a list of student’s name 30 minutes prior.
• Zoom drop-ins: we encourage students to login 15 - 20 mins before the zoom starts.
• The counselor will go in order referring to the waiting room.

Spring 2025

Now - May 21

• Monday: 11 am - 1 pm (In-Person)
• Tuesday: Noon - 2 pm (In-Person) | 4 - 6 pm (Zoom)
• Wednesday: 10 - 11:30 am (In-Person)
• Thursday: 10 - 11:30 am (In-Person) | 3:30 - 5 pm (Zoom)
• Friday: 10 - 11:30 am (In-Person)

Note: All hours are subject to change due to other events occurring. Due to other events, there will be no drop-ins on April 4, April 23, April 25, May 2 and May 8.

Summer 2025: Our transfer counselor may have limited drop-in hours assisting in General Counseling for the Summer. We will update times and dates once we confirm.

For Spring 2025, we will be offering 30 minute appointments from January 15 - 31.

Starting Monday, January 27, we will be making 1 hour appointments starting for the following Monday, February 3 for the remainder of the semester

• Appointments are scheduled at 8 am daily (Monday - Friday) during our business hours and scheduled 7 days in advance. For example, if a student calls on a Wednesday, we will book open appointments through the following Wednesday.
• Transcript Evaluation: These appointments are only for evaluating transcript(s) that are not Irvine Valley College or Saddleback College. Students are required to have an IVC or Saddleback College Student ID# and sent their official transcripts, preferably electronically, to Irvine Valley College prior to booking the appointment. IVC Admissions and Records may take one week to process the transcripts.

Providing Transcripts to Irvine Valley College: Please see your institution’s Admissions or Registrar’s website on how to official transcript(s). Students can also search by entering their institution’s name followed by official transcripts. Example: UC San Diego official transcripts.
