Disability Support Programs for Students (DSPS)

If you are new to IVC or it's been more than a year since you have taken classes, your first step is to complete the IVC online application and receive your student ID.

To receive services through IVC's DSPS department, a student must provide current documentation of a verified disability, including functional limitations in the educational setting. If you have an IEP or 504 plan from K-12 schools, it can serve as a Verification of Disability (VOD).

If you do not have any documentation that states the diagnosis, please download the VOD form and complete it. The VOD form must be completed by a licensed professional who can verify your disability.

After receiving your IVC student ID number and the appropriate VOD, contact the DSPS office to schedule an hour appointment for an intake with a counselor. During the appointment, services and accommodations will be discussed and approved.
