Steps to Enroll in the Work Experience Education (WEE) Program for Students
- Be current IVC student.
- Secure Work Experience Education (WEE)/Internship. Students looking for WEE opportunities may contact Career Center at IVC for assistance.
- Complete WEE Student Enrollment Application and submit to WEE Faculty. Students unsure of their WEE Faculty may contact WEE Program Coordinator for assistance. A WEE faculty will be assigned to each student in the program.
- Student will be contacted by the WEE Faculty for WEE orientation.

Beginning Work Experience Education (WEE)

- Meet with Work Experience Education (WEE) Faculty for Work Experience Education (WEE) Orientation.
- Review student forms
- Determine Work Experience Education (WEE) units to earn.
- Complete Work Experience Education (WEE) Student Learning Objectives.
- View Developing S.M.A.R.T Learning Objectives for instructions and examples.
- Learning Objectives must be agreed and approved by Work Experience Education (WEE) Academic faculty and Work Experience Education (WEE) employer/supervisor prior to Work Experience Education (WEE) enrollment.
- Receive Work Experience Education (WEE) ticket Number and APC to enroll.
During Work Experience Education (WEE)
- Learn & Earn.
- Complete and maintain Student Time Report for each day worked and prepare to submit when requested during the course.
- Complete Work Experience Education (WEE) course requirements per yourWork Experience Education (WEE) Course Outline/Curriculum. This may include reports and/or readings.
- Meet with Work Experience Education (WEE) Academic Faculty and Work Experience Education (WEE) employer for mid-point assessment to review and evaluate learning objective progress.
- Notify Work Experience Education (WEE) Faculty with any changes, questions, or issues.
Completing Work Experience Education (WEE)
- Complete, sign, and submit all required student Work Experience Education (WEE) forms to your Cooperative Work Experience Faculty.
- Student Time Report signed by student, employer, and faculty.
- Student Program Evaluation assessing CWE experience.
- Grade assessment.
- Meet with Work Experience Education (WEE) Faculty and Work Experience Education (WEE) employer/supervisor for Student Learning Objectives achievement and assessment.
- Demonstrate any written/oral presentation as required per your Work Experience Education (WEE) Course.
