Currently, all French courses at IVC are Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) as the IVC French Department uses open educational resources (OER) in all classes. Students earning their General Education at IVC can earn an AA in French without ever paying for French textbooks. Complete professional OER material is posted on the Canvas site of each class and students have access to this material free of charge throughout the course.
