Join Pride Scholars for a Paint Your Pride
Wednesday, October 9 | 3 - 4 pm | SAC 130
Come together and paint your pride! A time for making new friends, expressing yourself through art, and sharing life experiences. Refreshments will be provided!
Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Intersex, Asexual, and beyond (LGBTQIA+) students.
The Pride Scholars program supports LGBTQIA+ students in the form of counseling and identity-affirming programming that foster a safe space so that LGBTQIA+ students can thrive and be academically successful.
Our program offers:
- One-on-one academic, personal, and career counseling
- Pride Scholars program scholarships
- LGBTQIA+ club support
- LGBTQIA+ community building, advocacy, and education
- Programs and activities, such as National Coming Out Day (October), ValenPRIDE (February), Pride Celebration (April), Rainbow Cafés (monthly meeting), and more!
Rainbow Café
Join our discussion group each month where IVC LGBTQIA+ students can enjoy a safe space to discuss their unique issues and concerns. Monthly meetings will be held in the Equity and Inclusion Center at the Student Activities Center.
